Chiropractor
Sevak Khodabakhshian D.C.
Dr. Sevak Khodabakhshian, a local chiropractor at Omega Rehab & Sport, caring for the community of Thousand Oaks and cities of the surrounding Conejo Valley, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA in March of 2001 at the top of his class with both academic (Cum Laude) and clinical honors (Clinical Excellence Award).
Dr. Khodabakhshian (Dr. K) has extensive experience in both fitness training (National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer) and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and non-athletic injuries alike.
He is the co-founder of Omega Sport & Rehab (established in 2004) a company developed to meet the demand for comprehensive physical rehabilitation and enhancement of human performance through an active care model utilizing both physical therapists and chiropractors.
He as worked extensively with professional organizations to develop back safety programs and lectures regularly on injury prevention. To this end, Dr. Sevak writes a bi-monthly health column for the Ventura County Star titled “To Your Health” dedicated to proactive health education. Municipalities and companies he has worked with include the City of San Jose Fire and Police Departments, Conejo Valley Unified School District, Simi Valley Unified School District, Rio School District, Amgen, and the City of Thousand Oaks among many others.
Dr. Sevak has completed more than 50 hours of post-graduate training in industrial disability evaluation and is currently a California State-appointed Qualified Medical Evaluator (Q.M.E.).
He received his Bachelor's Degree in physical anthropology from California State University Northridge in December of 1993. Dr. Sevak is an avid surfer and describes himself as a nature lover. He is married to Tyaga, with one child, and chose to settle in the Conejo Valley in 2003 for the abundant natural resources and tight-knit communities it offers. He is a Thousand Oaks Rotarian and feels strongly about community involvement through volunteer work; dedicating his efforts to youth and community services.

Lead Physical Therapist and Certified Pilates Instructor
Anne O’Sullivan, MPT
Anne has actively engaged her patient population in wellness, corrective exercises, and rehabilitation for the past 21 years. Her vast experience in the field of rehabilitation encompasses almost every aspect of rehabilitation and exercise therapy including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, geriatric rehabilitation, and Pilates.
Anne started her career in physical therapy as a physical therapist assistant, with an AS from Pierce College in Woodland Hills. Years later she went back to California State University, Northridge to get her masters in physical therapy. She has completed an extensive year-long certification program in classical Pilates through the Teague institute, which included mat and all the equipment exercises, along with the principles of Pilates.
Additionally, she just completed a year-long course in orthopedics and has taken numerous courses over the years and will continue to do so, in her pursuit of learning and being the best she can be.
She has studied the Pilates discipline extensively in Southern California. Recently, she has devoted considerable personal resources to integrating her unique Pilates approach to rehabilitation to help her clients recover from injuries faster and more uniformly. She has now taken her field another step forward by introducing Pilates at Omega Rehab & Sport to our client population. She is eager to bring her vast experience and expertise to assist you in perfecting physical balance and enhancing function.

Karen Howell
Karen Howell has been Office Manager for Omega Rehab & Sport since 2004. She has 20+ years of experience in medical office management, mostly in the fields of Physical Therapy and Chiropractic services. Her knowledge also includes Insurance billing and collections.
She is well educated on most insurance plans and works with all clients to maximize their insurance benefits to help minimize their out-of-pocket responsibilities.
Her focus is to make the entire experience with Omega Rehab & Sport about your treatment and recovery, instead of about finances.
Karen is a native Texan but has been in California since 1994. When she is away from the office, she loves spending time with family and friends, crafting, gardening as well as traveling.

Rehabilitation Aide
Christian Cummins
Christian Cummins is Omega's lead rehabilitation aide and lead tech for our Employment Testing Division. He has been a vital member of the Omega team for over 7 years. Christian loves spending time with his soon-to-be wife, Viviana, and likes playing video games with friends.
He is a basketball club team coach where he improves upon the skills and lives of those he is around. What people may not know about Christian is his extensive knowledge of world history and his love for comedy.

Certified Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer
Nicole Dowell, C.M.T., N.C.P.T.
Nicole is one of our amazing massage therapists and also provides personal training at Omega. She graduated from IPSB at Life Energy Institute In 2008. Her specialties are therapeutic deep tissue, Sports massage, and Trigger Point therapy.
In 2009 she received her personal training certification from NASM as well as her Pilates instructor certification from Power Pilates.
She is also a certified ACE Health Coach. What people may not know about Nicole is that she was a professional ballroom dancer and choreographer, a professional tango dancer and a professional aerialist before pursuing her career in massage therapy and personal training.

Jeffrey Fischer, C.M.T.
A native of the Conejo Valley, Jeff discovered the value of sports massage as a competitive distance runner at Thousand Oaks HS and Stanford University. Now with 20 years of massage therapy experience, he's developed a large toolbox of techniques to facilitate injury rehab, speed recovery and enhance athletic performance.
